The way society produces, reproduces, perceives and reacts to images has always been at the core of my work.
At the root of the work is the idea of attentive looking and having to focus in order to really see what is in-front of us.
I make work that considers and reflects upon, our time and place in the world.
After moving to NY I started to use news imagery published in the New York Times as source material.
Images seen by millions of eyes everyday, permeate the collective subconscious and are then relegated to be "yesterday news" almost never to be seen again.
